[en] Clinical prevention has been organized in a chronological manner since the middle of the 20th century. A paradigmatic shift from a chronological to a relationship-based prevention organization offers new insights into the work and, specifically, into the preventive activities of doctors, and brings to light the concept of quaternary prevention, a critical look at medical activity with an emphasis on the need not to harm.
